Conducted design workshops with ADEK employees and management, and two with parents, to uncover insights and discover their needs and wants. These workshops also helped frame the problem.

Analysed a quantitative parent survey report shared by ADEK to gain insights into their priorities. Also conducted peer analysis and benchmarked global best practices to discover the basic expectations of users and ‘delighters.’

Created several user personas to identify key segments of the population, enabling us to understand the user’s goals, pain points, and identify opportunities.

Based on the user personas, we drafted customer journey maps to get contextual, in-the-moment understanding of parents’ real-world spoken and unspoken experiences and their pain points, helping us identify opportunities.

To bring use cases to life and illustrate how the platform would be used in daily life, we drafted storyboards for each user persona.

Created a wishlist of features that will help us shape our platform for the years to come.

We facilitated a workshop focusing on feature prioritization and card sorting to generate ideas, which will be the input to building the deliverables for this phase.

Created user stories with detailed acceptance criteria to make sure that the user’s needs and expectations are met for each of the features prioritised in the workshop.

Drawing from the workshop activities, particularly the card sorting, we created an Information Architecture (IA) structure to map out all of the features and their relationships.

User flows show the path users take to achieve their goals on the app and website. We created them to identify pain points, improve usability, and optimize user experience.

To simulate the final product and gather feedback from stakeholders, we created high-fidelity prototypes ensuring that the design and functionality align with their needs.

Created an interaction guide to establish clear and concise guidelines for how users will interact with the platform, and to ensure that developers fully understand our vision. We included navigation, buttons, and other interactive elements.

Developed a cohesive design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all 1,000+ screens, streamlining the design process and enhancing the user experience.

Facilitated a seamless developer handoff with detailed documentation and interactive prototypes, ensuring accurate implementation of the design across the platform.
